Toko Range, western Queensland Australia

From: Alex

Is it the same type of place as one of the 7 Greatest Places?
No, it's a different type of place.

About this Greatest Place:
One of the more isolated areas on the edge of the Simpson Desert. It is most beautiful just after rain when the Gidyea trees are in flower and the ground cover flowers are out. It contains a wealth of biota and geological history and is one of the more isolated parts of Australia. It also is home to rare desert parrots and the Western Taipan...the worlds deadliest land snake.
