Outcomes: To be able to successfully apply the five themes of Geography to a variety of places.
Time Needed: 1- 50 minute class period
Materials: World's Greatest Places video animatic, or omni film video from the Science Museum of Minnesota
Prior Knowledge: Students should be familiar with the 5 themes of Geography and the Mnemonic Device Mr. Help
Activities: Remind the students of the 5 themes of Geography. You may want to use some examples to refresh memories. Hand out the video organizer and ask students to write examples for each theme based on the video. All may not be covered in the video.
