Cecil's Answer for Week 10

Q: What landscape feature of Amazonia has changed due to human activity?

Answer:' The most promounced change is deforestation.'

Two other Greatet Places, Madagascar and Tibet, have also experienced deforestation. While most Tibet's trees have been gone for some time, Madagascar is, as we speak, loosing much of its forests.

Astronauts orbiting the earth over the Amazon can see from space the smoke and light from man made forest fires.
