This is a list of activities relating to the Greatest Places curriculum I plan to implement in the spring.

Objectives:

To practice writing skills. To explore GP trunk contents. To incorporate trunk activities. To discover new things about Namibian culture. Tocreate a video about physical features of school grounds.

Materials:

paper & pencil , stamps, videotapes, trunk, stuff to put in trunk,

Activities:

Write letters to assigned pen pals. (Monthly)
Create a video illustrating physical geographic features of each place.
Create a culture trunk & exchange.

Assessment Strategies:

Writing samples to place in portfolio.List steps of how to make a culture trunk. Video production of physical features.
