NOT A BAD GUESS



Actually, the Iditarod is just over 1,000 miles long, stretching across Alaska. Animal activists tried to ban the race, saying it was inhumane to the dogs, but the racers argued that this is what the dogs were born to do. The race continues today. Good effort!
